KL did hear the same thing that a few Warrior baseball players have retired the spikes. Can anyone from Jasper give us a little insight on what is going on? Perhaps it...is only a false rumor, but.......perhaps there is some truth also. This come from a Jasper fan so.......quess we'll see how it unfolds. OP read where BC's dad posted he has hung up them there cleats, recon..........why....OP don't know......., after several indicated he would return. OP was told he makes 3 former SP players that have hung them up.

Marion Co is the team to beat in the valley side of the district but Sequatchie Co has the talent to beat them. The new coach is working them hard and trying to set the kids straight after 2 years of little to no coaching. The SC team will have no fear of MC since they had success against them in middle school. SC has a very difficult schedule and will be much improved even if record doesn't show it. The MC players and knowledgable fans know that SC shouldn't be taken lightly the next 2 years.

op you are right about the two hanging up their spikes. some kids just can't handle discipline as to anyone else quitting i'm not so sure about. marion will be marion and win ballgames as they have a core group of guys in loyd, muir, guyear, hill and martin

OP thinks 4 of the 5 named are seniors so they should be a veteran team but will obviously be young next year.
