sokker09
Great game. Ravenwood won in every position tonight. Independence never stopped fighting though. All credit to them. So Ravenwood and Brentwood won tonight... can anyone please map out what is next for these teams and who plays who?
RHS10
So Ravenwood and Brentwood won tonight... can anyone please map out what is next for these teams and who plays who? Ravenwood plays Brentwood tomorrow night at 7pm at Cheek Park in Franklin for the District Championship. A rematch of an earlier season game where Ravenwood won 2 - 0. Both teams advance to regional play next week.
RHS10
Sure, just like Indy dominated play week before last when they played. LOL Tonite's win by Ravenwood was very similar to the previous game played a couple weeks ago. Indy played hard, never gave up, but Ravenwood controlled play throughout. Ravenwood managed to finish on several chances this time was really the only difference that I saw. Good effort by both teams.
Me.
The two best teams advance -- tho I'm surprised by the Brentwood score. Any details on the game?
Stoat
The two best teams advance -- tho I'm surprised by the Brentwood score. Any details on the game? I wasn't there for the whole game, so this comes from a couple that were. Brentwood didn't really impress, but had a couple of chances to put it away. As mentioned early, Centennial played for the draw - for the game to go to KFTM. Good offside call five minutes from time nullified a goal for Brentwood. Bristol saved first PK but CHS centre back blasted fourth kick over. I'll double-check details and edit as needed. Others please correct as well if I have misstated any of this. More weather happening now, but field was pretty dry last night although a lot of players had footing issues. Hope they can get this in tonight - it should be a great game. Bristol, as usual, kept centennial in the game with 3 or 4 acrobatic saves. In pks, Bristol saved the first and Davis saved either the second or third, then on the fourth, centennial blasted one over, and kenny ra nailed the last one in to give brentwood the win

It'll be a close match tonight--assuming the weather cooperates.
RHS10
I thought the regular season score was 2-1?? It'll be a close match tonight--assuming the weather cooperates. You're correct. Sorry. It was 2 - 1 and agree it will be a good, close game tonight if they play at all. I'd give edge to Ravenwood, especially given the extra time Brentwood had to go last night vs. Centennial. Ravenwood midfielders once again will be the difference.
rebelj
Ravenwood is really, really good. I hope they get the game in tonight against Brentwood. For those in the know, keep us updated. If it does get cancelled, would it be played this weekend or next week during the week?

If bad weather moves in then we will make a game time decision, but as of now we are playing tonight.

Tyson
WOW... did I see where Brentwood shutout Ravenwood 2 - 0 tonight for District Title??? Anyone have any details?? ravenwood gave up early goal on mistake by the goalie who had hands on the ball but didn't lock it up. brentwoods desalvatore knocked it out of his hand with his hip as he ran by and it rolled in. majority of play was on brentwoods defensive side but ravenwood didn't finish on several chances hitting posts on a few shots and other solid chances. brentwood scored very late on a nice cross for tap in by desalvatore. flow of play seemed to favor ravenwood but brentwood finished on the chances they had where ravenwood didnt. these two teams could meet again next week if they both win their regional games. congrats to brentwood on another district title.
