So, who will the Lady Highlanders be pulling for to win Region Two-A?

 

If you have to travel, regardless, it's just a few miles up the Ridge to Wartburg... from Oliver Springs.

Where would they rather go?

 

And, if the Lady Highlanders win Region One-A, then both Carter County teams will have to travel for

Sub-State. So, is there more incentive for Hampton?

Still dissing the Lady Dogs krich ? You never gave them a chance to win the District and now they have no shot at the Regonal either. Everyone was worried about NG in the region semi's. Are you saying that Cloudland threw the District final so they wouldn't have to play them? If my count is correct the Lady Dogs have won 2 of the 3 games between the two teams. You just keep adding fuel to the no respect fire.

Its a slug fest when these two play. Cloudland is the better team, but it seems Leon Tolley gets his team to play like they will face the death penalty if they don't win. In short answer - - no.

 

However, in the event you're not aware (and I could be, and often am wrong, but), to the best of my understanding, if Cloudland wins the Region, then both the Lady Highlanders and Lady Bulldogs will have to travel for Sub-State. So, if anything, I venture that there's slightly more incentive for Hampton to win.

 

Nor did I say, imply, or post... that they had no chance to win the District Tournament. I did say, and I still maintain, that the preferrable route (for the Region)... was as the #2 seed.

 

And it was.

 

I don't know if "everyone" was worried about the Lady Huskies, however, I certainly would have been, and I suspect that Coach Tolley was plenty-nuff concerned, especially considering the closeness of three of the four games they played. To me at least, North Greene was a very tough matchup for either team.

      If he’s the best option that isn’t good. I heard he couldn’t even get the qb to play baseball this year.  kids aren’t coming out for him either he’s in the same boat. But it’s trousdale county and it’s just baseball. You can win one game a year same goes for basketball no one will even kno or talk about it. Just like up here on the hill basketball is the more serious thing in my books if you start losing there’s usually some change..

      I live in Macon and watched both but I’ll take up for satterfield on this one look at the dudes he has these 2 years compared to the others don’t forget we barely even scored on them there for awhile when he started coaching there just look at 2018 on   If you give him athletes to play with he’s a dangerous d c.

      I don’t know how Huntingdon did vs Creekwood varsity today but I did hear the Huntingdon middle school girls beat Creekwood and Westview JV teams by 30 both games today.
