Does anyone know of any good traveling teams around Giles,Lawrence,Lincoln,Marshall or Maury Counties for 16 years olds an up,If you do please post I am tring to find someone to play for the summer with,any advice will help,thanks.......

I don't know when your birthday is, but Columbia Post 19 has a 16 year old team and an 18 year old team, we played about 55 games this summer against some very good teams. I don't know who the 16 year old coach will be next year, but I can let you know as soon as I find out. Both teams won over 40 games this summer, both finished 2nd in the state in American Legion. I would imagine you would still be able to play on the 16 year old team. Ask Dobias, Clayton, and Shults about it, they can tell you more about that team than I could since I was on the 18 year old team.

Also, Marshall County has the Dusters, but that team is made up of only players from Marshall County schools.

      Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.

      Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.

      I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.

      The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
