Ringgold (GA) Marching Tiger Band is the largest, loudest band in the Chattanooga area. over 200 members.

Dobyns-Bennett of Kingsport, TN is by far the largest band in the state. They had to start limiting the number of kids in the competitive band to around 200 to 250 and the non competitive band marches over 500.

Since this year. Band camp we had 89 students and we where missing 6drummers and 3trup. 2tubas 3sax. 1bar. we have a ton of freshmans and people who have changed schools. The first day of school is Monday and where hoping to get more!

If so, thats great. People tend to add 30, 40 more people to their bands not knowing who sees these bands weekly. Last year someone stated Pearl had over 80 people....they had 50 at the most....unless your counting band staff and band boosters!

Dobyns-Bennett and Farragut each sport the largest bands in East Tennessee.
