Pearl-Cohn has 110? Since when? Since this year. Band camp we had 89 students and we where missing 6drummers and 3trup. 2tubas 3sax. 1bar. we have a ton of freshmans and people who have changed schools. The first day of school is Monday and where hoping to get more!

it is a sport. We Practice frm 345-8 mon-wed and thurs frk 5-untill. We have to do push ups. we have to run around the track. We pratice more then the football time.

OK so most of you guys think marching band is not a sport. Well imma speak for all the big 10 marching style schools. IT IS A SPORT and if you dont know what a big 10 marching school is watch drumline its mostly HBCU. But how would you say that and when i was in high school anybody could tell you we worked harder then anybody. And till this they they still do. They have pratice monday-wed from 2:45 untill 7pm and on thursdays 4-8 unless its heck week "Another big 10 marching band" and on thursday we will but there 4-untill we get it right and i know we stayed out there untill 10:30 one year. So you still say its not a sport???? And if you wondering what school that is PEARL-COHN IN NASHVILLE TN

Well these is how it goes for the band. Black schools in college and high schools all have big 10 marching bands such as pearl-cohn or tsu "tennessee state" . When we were in 4a we played more schools that had bands that was just like us. and we would battle but we would only play when the other team had the ball and they would play when we had the ball. so basically it was even but now that we are in 3a and we been facing more corp style marching bands its not the same because they probly only know like 4 songs and we know about 30 song that we have to learn from the summer and on. Now we are doing to howard and howard has a band just like us even though they only have a good 25 people and we are at 102 it should be a even match! So basically it depends and what school you go to. Now if you wanna talk about bands go to Atlanta and its a high school called southwest dekab and they have a band with 350 people! Its not being cocky it just we was raised diffrent and, when we step on the feild every friday the only thing we are thinking about is getting the job done so we can go home and get ready for next week. O YEAH SHOTS OUT TO THE PEARL COHN MARCHING BAND!
