What appears to be one of the top games this weekend, the Forrest Lady Rockets are at home against Wayne Co. Wayne Co., coming off a loss to Conersville, plans on giving Forrest all they can stand. Forrest has already proven they can handle thier pesky rival with a victory over them earlier in the year. At the time, Forrest baller Beth Hawn was sick, but still managed to play. Healthy now, she is poised to make a bigger difference this time around....The biggest difference may be the steady play of Summer Waggoner, who scored her 1000 pt last week, and the balanced scoring of the entire team....Forrest is no longer a team that can be stopped by shutting down Hawn. The only question is if Forrest realizes it. Waynce Co. has shown they are capable of pulling off the win but, if Forrest comes in with a swagger about themselves this game shouldn't be close...The Lady Rockets have demonstrated overwhelming victories the past few weeks, beating a solid McEwen team, Wednesday by 22 pts. With Forrest defending thier home court, Hawn healthy, solid guard play, and dominate post play in Waggoner and Porter, the only way Forrest loses is by not knowing they are supposed to win this game big. I expect a good game early but Forrest proving too strong in the end for a hobbling Wayne Co.....Forrest wins 58-41.

I agree. Forrest is playing some awesome ball right now....both offensively and defensively. What more can you say about Waggoner, Porter, Hawn, Bussell and Ledbetter. They are like the Fantastic Five when they are on the court. The Lady Rocket's strong bench has also played a huge factor in their success. This bench runs deep and so does this team's determination.
