Frank Morgan is set to Wrestle Andrew Sanchez in the 197lb National finals tomorrow after winning an exciting semis match with a takedown in OT! Frank lost to him by a riding point in the region finals to Sanchez, and is extremely anxious for the rematch!

Frank is King College's first National Finalist!

King also has John Erickson (125) and Shad Rissler (141) in the Consilation quarters and are guaranteed top 6!

This is already King's best national performance to date.

The finals will be live online. You can go to NAIA.org to find it. King sits curremtly ib 11th place. Unfortunately last years All-American JaVonte' Ashford (165lb.) suffered a high ankle sprain at Regionals while up 8-1 to Lindenwoods National finalist John Murray. He has been missed this weeekend, but King is extremely proud of Morgan, Erickson, and Rissler.

Congratulations to King College and good luck in the Finals Frankie!

I wish I wasn't working right now so that I could watch it online.

Morgan gave up a takedown with 12 seconds in the 4 OT. A little controversial because his foot went off the mat onto the hardwood during the scramble which is out of bounds, but you can't take anything from sanchez. We are very proud of Frankie and look to gain that National title when we go NCAA div II.

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
