You run your mouth almost as much a Brandon Ward from Red Bank. who was highly overrated. Did he even graduate high school?

Kyler Burke - 2007 batted .233, 11 HRS, 62 RBI's regular season, in which he played through a trade. Selected to play in the Hawaii winter league with other top notch minor league players from all organizations. He hit .333 in 26 games. In 2008 batted .242, 9 HRS, and 49 RBIs. Maybe you need to remember he would only be a junior in college right now. He is doing fine, he is listed as the best minor league outfield arm in the Cubs organization going into Spring Training.

Every Ooltewah player you have mentioned were very good high school baseball players. All played in the State baseball tournament during their years as Owls. Yes not all made it big in college but not that many do. Maybe they did not play up to what several of us expected but college baseball doesn't work out for everyone that signs. They did earn the opportunity to play at the next level. Ooltewah has had 25 or so baseball players sign to play college baseball in the past 6 years. Not many schools can say that. Their time has past, now is the time to talk about the players that are playing high school baseball today, not bash the young men that have moved on. Good luck to the 2009 Owls.
