Strange Nicknames/Cheers

OK, I know it's a little early to start "Strange Topics in Baseball" but this nickname really has me wondering. Guy gets up to bat and someone, probably Mom, yells, "C'mon Trainwreck, see the ball!"

Trainwreck?

How is that a GOOD nickname?

So what have you heard that "ain't quite right"?

One other...

First guy up in inning, hits grounder to short. Lady yells "First, First, First!!!".

Uh, where else would he throw it? It's not like there was a choice.

Yeah, maybe I'm just getting old...

AE has a player on their team that they call Skittles... Last year during warmups instead of busting out gum or some sunflower seeds in his pocket, he had a pocket full of skittles. So every since last year, they have bless him with that name.

Also, one of the cheers that a parent came up with last year was, "Come on Skittles taste the Rainbow and rip that ball over the rainbow fence!" THat's a classic there

I was scouting a game out in a rural community and heard, "yuins yank that tater out agin the feed store now ya here!"

A comical saying ccriders is use to hearing is "let me see your hands and slooooowly get out of your vehicle."

A classic saying of Riverdaleman is, "make that a biggy size!" Did I read where his son hit a homerun earlier this week!

Congratulations!!!
