How about some scores & highlights from around the distric?

 

Gibbs downed Seymour 10-0 in 6 innings.

Fr. Samantha Smith pitched the shutout & wound up with 10K allowing only 1 hit, I think it was. So. Emilee Solomon went 4 for 4 at the plate. A few too many runners stranded but a good start to distric play. The real test will come Thursday as Gibbs will face defending State Champs Goodpasture in Hendersonville.
