State Middle School Tournament and Playdays

Since there seems to be a lot of Local MIDDLE SCHOOL Tournaments this year, it has been asked to try to get listed those sites that are having Playdays and Tournaments and try to recognize tose Schools and Coaches in the state which are doing good. Middle School Age Players have been particularly active this spring in all parts of the state with 11 year old, 12 year old, 13 year old and 14 year old girls playing Club at a brisk clip and its expected there will be a great year for Middle School Girls this year. So here are the weeks andif your school is having a Playday, clinic or tournament, post the on the bottom and We will put you on this State Wide Schedule so you might see how the middle schools are doing. Middle Middle School Coaches have been seen at Club Tournaments watching these players. Clubs catering to these 11-14 age groups should list their Club so prospective players thru the state can see where the club is located.

 

Cumberland University usually has a major 2 day(Sat and Sunday afternoon ) Playday and usually has as many as I can remember, 28-30 schools entered into the event. There are a number of courts playing at the same time and usually has a large crowd in attendance. Look for it on their web site if I happen to miss it. You of course can call the school to see when it is. For the serious Middle School playing volleyball, it is an important event a Coach might need to consider. Schools from Williamson, Dickson, Montgomery, Rutherford, Wilson, Sumner, Macon, Cumberland, Robertson and Davidson usually attend among others. Its a first class event.

 

Also Lipscomb University has set up free Volleyball Clinics during the year. You might check with the University to find dates for the clinics.
