Indian
Last Saturday in Murfreesboro I was thinking about how many talented players the state has produced even just in the past few years. Some have signed and are no longer playing but many still are. I used the signing pages from this site to help me remember some forgotten names and got this list together for the Chattanooga-Cleveland area. With only about 35 schools, about 10 AAA (and a couple of those about to drop to AA), it's not a bad group. All of these either are 09 seniors who've signed or who were on 08-09 rosters. I couldn't go just by the signing pages since some changed schools or only played a year or two apparently. Anyone else want to volunteer looking up their own area's players? With the season over and topics dying down (at least until transfer talk gets everyone revved up) it might be fun to figure up how many were playing from the state this year and are about to start playing. Also if there are any missing from the Chattanooga area just reply and they can be added. Year in college, college and position would help make it complete. Indian
I added a few more. I know there's somebody out there willing to compile players from his or her own area, across the state. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
wingman10
No wonder Lee is doing so well.
Indian
They recruit the Cleveland area well (naturally since that's where the school is at) but they don't limit the recruiting to just that area. They have an NAIA All-American from Scottsboro, Alabama, not too far down from the Tennessee state line. Their incoming group with Hamby, Lockhart, Zimmerman and Davis is probably better than quite a few NCAA Division I programs, and that's not counting any they're bringing in from elsewhere. They and other schools should look hard at some of the players on this list above in junior colleges.

Indian
Fixed it, you are right. I don't remember if I accidentally put Lee in there or saw it wrong somewhere. Here is a piece from the Cleveland paper on their game against Cumberland: Tennessee Wesleyan signee Lacey Allen led the first half with 12 points, including four 3-pointers and three assists.
