LOOKING FOR TEAMS for Fall Tournament

I hope that everyone has seen my thread about Leslie Cates Memorial Fall Classic. I am doing this tournament to put lights on high school softball field. Our team seems to be having trouble getting money for program. I would like to have about 4 more high school teams or more. I have 4 now. If the reason most of you are not coming is because of friday night football games we can work it where you play on Saturday. I'm not sure why I have not had the interst in this tournament from my friends here at coachT. Would any of you just email me what is wrong.

I was hoping to use this to show people in Bedford Co how fun and exicting fastpitch is. But if I just have one real good team they will see what most thought and boring game but when teams are good they can see a great sport.

Jim, I don't think you are doing anything wrong. But, most high school teams that are together now are playing fall ball in a league. 20 something teams at Cane Ridge alone.

 

Good luck though, sounds like a good use for the funds.

Thank you. I was hoping that teams would come and help because they know how hard it is. But things have look up today. Chapel Hill is coming and I'm going to their league this weekend to talk to more coaches. I'm willing to work out any problem a team may have to get them to come. I hope that anyone that loves Fastpitch softabll will just come and watch too. Some teams have so many girls that I was hoping that they come split and come to our also. That what Chapel Hill is doing and then when they get done with the league the other girls will come. That was graet for them to be willing to do to help. Am hoping others look at it and say they can do it too.
