Talking trash is really quite futile unless you are a member of a team that has never lost and will never lose. The Harlem Globetrotters? They can trash-talk. But for everyone else, it is not a good idea. Eventually, they will be the one doing the losing and people will suddenly want to kick them while they are down. But it is fun to do if it can be backed up. Unfortunately for Whitwell (and fortunately for the Bucs), they could not COME CLOSE to backing up any talk. But Boyd-Buchanan's day will come as well.

I wish everybody could hear the reply of the Whitwell game last night. Already 3 times in the first quarter and halfway through the second the announcer had mentioned 3 times how he wishes Tigers would hurt Healy and put him out the game. The other announcer even had to basically tell him to shut up in so many words after he said he didn't care about roughing the passer as long as the quarterback is out of the game. It's 17-0 right now to give a little explanation on where the game is at, Boyd-Buchanan just kicked the extra point, 4:53 in 2nd Q

Minute left in half.."there you go, put him on the ground and hurt him". He also hoped a receiver would get hurt on the next play. I don't know who this bozo is but this is shameful.

Too bad Ronnie Carter doesn't get cable/radio from down there. Maybe someone should send him a tape. An announcer like that should be removed. Most times the grown ups set the worst examples. It's a shame.

It came on the Dunlap radio station this morning right after the Sequatchie game. Started around 9:30 or 10:00.
