Safety a Concern?

Rhea is hosting the 5AAA district this year. I am sure that like every team they are wanting to play. But when does wanting to play over seed safety. We have gotten between 3-6 inches of rain in 4 days. It is hard for me to believe that a field can withstand that much pounding and be ready to go the next day. I don't believe there is enough dry that could take care of that? I just hope that if they play that it is safe and they are not just trying to get the games in. Many teams have now purchased tarps to cover their fields. This may be one of them.

I hope so. Saw a player break her ankle once sliding into third when the field was muddy.
