Possibly having to play 4 games in one night an hour and a half from home on a school night. Hope there are no tests on Friday. No surprise that the host school is already eliminated. Ready to get it over.

Looks like to me no one would have to play more than three games. Considering the early start time, the increased chances of rain on Friday and Saturday, and not having to drive the hour and a half back to Huntland one more time, it seems like the best decision to me.

You're right. I didn't think about the "if necessary" game. I wonder if it came down to that game if they would leave it up to the coaches involved to decide whether or not to come back on Friday. Lots of districts may run out of time because of the weather though, so getting to play it out on the field is not a bad thing. Look at 9A, they are going to try and play 7 games on Saturday.

Weather has just been a villain all year. It is going to come down to a lot of districts either going single elimination or sending the top 2 from the regular season. We have had so much rain this week that it really didn't matter if you were tarped or not because the outfields flood and or run off gets under the tarps.
