All-District/All-Region Players?

Do you guys not meet on this, or are you having to call all the coaches?

We usually meet on this, but it is hard, because our district has teams from Scott County and Oneida all the way down to Stone Memorial in Crossville. Those coaches would have to travel 1.5 hours to come to a 30 minute meeting.

So, we try to do it by e mail. It isn't working. So next year (especially with the new districts) we will have to have a meeting regardless.

It is very frustrating (and unfair to the players) that it isn't complete.

Thanks, Coach G. Really appreciate all the effort to put this together.

Really proud of our Loudon boys - and one in particular - you know who you are! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I thought you might like the results! They were well deserved! Congrats to all the award winners and district 1st and 2nd teamers (though I don't think "teamers" is a word!)

Does Each District & Region name an "ALL-****" Team? If so, where can these lists be found?

Also, any word on when the Coaches' All-State list will be out?

Thanks in advance.

The Coaches' all state lists were finalized this week. I don't know the exact release date, but it should be soon.

Any word yet on when this will be released?

Answering my own question....a rep from THSSCA tells me the 2009 Coaches' All State List for Boy's will be released by this weekend (8/8/09).

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
