Predictions for A/AA next year?

I think east Tn will still be strong and it will be interesting to see how the districts play out. I'm excited to pick up some new rivalries and I think greeneville can shake things up dropping down. Elizabethton seems to get through to sectionals every year.

Our old district picks up pigeon forge but don't know much about them so I view that one as a toss up. Those teams will all beat each other up. Probably be better than people give them credit for and give teams a run for their money in the regions. I just hope we are there again.

Other parts of the state seem to have usual suspects in: CCS, CPA, Hume Fogg, Madison, Boyd Buc, CSAS

can notre dame rebound after being down? Will Kingsbury shift the landscape?

I agree that east tn soccer will be strong (just like every year). With CAK (A/AA state winner) in the same district as Alcoa (A/AA state finalist), and not to mention carter, that ought to be a very good district next year. Alcoa wins that district pretty easily every year, but I bet theyre even hungrier /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> now to win and beat out CAK.

And akula, isnt that russian? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Well a shark is a feared animal. The idea is to be feared by all that will compete against you.

Then there's a loan shark. And those are just illegitimate businessman with lots of guns and a short temper.

Then there is the Land Shark from the old Saturday Night Live skits....

Well, you can certainly tell there is no more soccer going on , wehave been regulated to Akula's hair, running and definitions.

I wish all of you luck for the next months until Boys soccer starts again and then I will be back with my sometimes antagonistic, sometimes challenging, sometime predicting but always my love for soccer and those of you that keep it alive on the boards...........

How do you guys think berean, gibbs, carter and even the new ones coming in will do and how that district will be played out?

Well both Berean and Carter are losing some dominate players and Gibbs will be getting a new coach. So next year could be a very even match up for these three teams, but who knows anything can happen.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
