2nd Annual High School All-Star Game

I saw in the paper that the 2nd Annual High School All-Star game was set for 6/9/09 at Pringles Park. Any idea who the 20 seniors are from West Tennessee are who are playing in this game?

I believe Colin Hatch from Huntingdon and Derek Bird from Clarksburg also made it.

Well it was a great game. Blue team won 9-8. Pitching wasn't as sharp as you might expect but there had been a little layoff and longer for some. A couple of errors but all in all well played too. The guys made a good showing for themselves and all the young men should cherish the moment as playing on a pro field is something they may never do again.

 

So closes the final chapter in my kids high school careers. It has been fun and will be missed and thought of fondly but it is time to move on, and help him grow from a young man to an educated, working, family man.

Great game. Good crowd. Noticed several college coaches there. Hope this becomes a West Tennessee tradition for our baseball seniors.
