Was listening to the GB radio broadcast. One of their radio guys complained about the refs not calling enough on Dresden and then when one was called on GB he said the refs were trying to control the game too much. LOL!! Complained about the last score by Dresden, called it classless. Guess that 49-7 score they beat Oneida by was just good football.

His sons have been working there for awhile now. I think they had been doing a lot of the work recently anyway.

Final 49-25.

Lexington wins. Scored late to make 27 or 28 -6. Rushed for about 300 yards. Sounded like the WH QB was pretty good but sounded like the Lex D played pretty good.

Should be a close game. Have a nephew playing for Riverside so I have to pull for them. Tight game in the second half, Riverside makes a long drive to take the lead. McKenzie goes for it on 4th down on Riverside's side of the field, but gets stopped short. Riverside runs out the clock for the W. Margin of Victory less than 7. GO PANTHERS!

What makes you say it should have been 20-6?

What is the offensive and defensive philosophy of White House? Run or pass? 3-4 or 4-3 or ? Last time Lex got this far DL had a really good 3 man line (big boys) that ate our blockers up. Does WH have that same ability? How explosive is WH on offense?

As you can see there are some dandies in Mckenzie. Should Riverside be fortunate enough to win you will see a wailing and gnashing of teeth (by some) like you have never seen. When the McKenzie baseball team got put out of the district tourney two years ago they were fighting themselves in the parking lot after the game.

I haven't been outmatched because I have not been playing. LHS is my own team..... I graduated there. The boys and parents who have put in the time along with the coaches deserve to be represented better than what is being put forth on this board. Most people know the score and that there is always one or two in every crowd but it is still embarrassing. I want you guys to pull for your team but it does not have to be a shouting match or measuring contest to accomplish that. If anybody gets banned it will be because what they said breaks the rules, not because it was reported. You may now continue with your regularly scheduled programming.

I just reported LHS to a Mod. Hopefully that will help. Of course it may clean out more than him if they go that route.

This has to be the most idiotic, inane amount of drivel I have ever seen on a message board anywhere. First for the two Lexington students (you have to be kids) who are acting like I don't know what and for the WH,GB,and DL fans for repeatedly engaging them. If you want this to get better this week then one side or the other is going to have to man up and be an adult. If not the best thing that will come out this Friday's game is that one side will shut up. I am not against some good natured smack but this is not that. Everyone involved in it is doing nothing but embarrassing themselves and the school they represent. Here is a little nugget for anyone that will listen, you don't have to run your opponent down to have belief in your own team or school. I know it will fall on deaf ears but I had to try.

I agree with what you said about those games. The first game was surprising but you guys had a great team. Your execution was flawless on offense and on defense you front line eat up all the blocking so your lb's could run free and as a result our speed guys could not get loose. The reason for so much excitement was it had been a good while since Lex had enjoyed any success on the football field. Having a son who was on that team (freshman) the difference between that team and this one is the players like their coach. Coach "Worth" is liked by his players so that helps. This years team is young and though they may hit the wall Friday night they have gotten better through the year. Just ignore the stupid people and if you don't respond to him he will leave.

I am sure that WH has the coachs 100% attention. You don't get to the 3rd round by being a poor team. Should be a close exciting game. Will likely be who makes the fewest mistakes. Don't fret the young pups who talk smack. The young often equate loudness or snotty comments as winning the battle of wits. If you don't feed the pup he won't poop so much. Hoping for a well played game with no serious injuries, and a Lexington win.

You always want a re-match against the team that beat you. Especially in close ones. I may try to go to this one. Lets hope for no injuries and a good game, but I gotta pull for Riverside.

This is the real problem. I would bet a lot of money that everywhere you have a real athletic program at a high school that extends to all sports, there is someone at the top who is driving the bus to get the funds these sports need for the kids to participate in. A good leader will lead his coaches and booster clubs in the direction they need to go to fund these sports. Working with them to help find the money instead of just setting back and saying no we can't fund that, or sorry we are broke, etc.

You do realize those schools will still be broke after you remove the TSSAA? The TSSAA surely could do things better in a lot of areas but the wealth of a school or lack thereof is not from anything they do. Although I am sorry those sports have been dropped at some schools, lack of funds leaves them no choice. How would they compete without the TSSAA? If not that organization another one would have to be created, laws passed, by laws, etc. I will not gripe about what a person makes. And as for comparing their hourly rate to most of us, how many of us have jobs where during the course of it on any given day you hear about how you need to see the eye doctor, to go home, you suck, and any number of obscenities, plus the threats against your person at times? Lots of things to consider.

The way I see it the pay as it is makes for pretty good pay for a part time job. I also don't have a problem with the increase either. People should be able to make whatever the job will pay. I would not want anyone telling me how much I can make and I don't think anyone else would either. Neither pay scale is gonna make anyone broke or rich so whats the big deal?

And there you go. That is what the kids need. That is the extent of practice and has been since he took over. There is no jv program. Those kids are used for fund raising and that is it. Schedule a bunch of teams outside the district you should beat and you have a good record every year. It looks good on a resume but it does not begin to tell the whole story. He has ran off enough good players over the years to field a state tournament quality team. A good one.

Funny I know people who played then too probably all of them and if you truly are a player who played then I know you too. The "team" did not love him as you say. I heard it from too many of the players myself. Anyway I wish you well and I hope you have great day and great life. I would be shocked if the coach at Riverside leaves.

You have not got a clue. Either that or this is Terry. Since the parents of the kids who are playing are part of the ones complaining about him, your theory kind of falls apart dont it? You will be hard pressed to find anyone player or parent who likes him as a coach.

Last year the match ups between the districts produced some good games. Have not seen none of the teams this year so I do not have an idea how it will work out. Pulling for 13A here though. Hoping for no injuries.
