Region III Starts Friday

Recommended Posts

Region III starts Friday in Dallas. Looking at the Girls' U16 schedule, BWSC 93' starts off with the 2007 National Champions (Dallas Sting). If they can beat Mississippi and LA, they would probably play the 2008 National Champions (Dallas Texans)........Good experience for them..What other tournament can you possibly play the last 2 National Champs (One way to look at it)...Good Luck BWSC 93'!

But as you said, it will be an expericence. The 92 FC Alliance had the Sting last year and really played a good game, finally going down 1-3. This year they travel to TX to play our 'neighbors' the Lobos, and also CESA, before getting on the field with an Oklahoma team. Safe travel, and good luck to everyone.

Friday Night Result: Dallas Sting 1 BWSC 93' 0

Sting scores in the last 2 minutes to win. BWSC played very well but couldn't finish.

After a tough loss to Sting on Friday, BWSC 93' Girls beat Mississippi 2-0 today. A win or tie tomorrow against LA would put them back in the Quarterfinals for the 3rd straight year. However, they will have their work cut out for them as they will play the Defending National Champions Longhorns who have shown no weakness so far in the games played.
