Notes from Greco:

 

Michael Hooker injured and will not wrestle Cadet freestyle.

 

Marvin Lopez losses his last match in the 3rd period on a leg foul call while down and defending for the win. A win in that match would have put him a round away from placing. Lopez finishes with a 5-2 record, losses coming to the 6th and 8th place finishers.

 

Cullen King went 2-2.

 

Chase Martino went 1-2.

 

Chip Norwood went 2-2.

 

Nick Maxwell went 0-2.

 

Cadet freestyle underway right now. All I have heard so far was a win for Kaleb Baker.

Also I failed to mention that Aaron Lopez went 1-2 in Cadet Greco.

Aaron Lopez won his first match in a 2 round decisions.

 

Campbell Lewis won his first round match by fall.

 

Kaleb Baker won his first round match by tech fall.

Campbell Lewis and Kaleb Baker both took their second matches by tech.

 

Aaron Lopez a tough 3 period battle to Nick Mudlaff of Wisconsin 0-7,1-0,0-1. I have seen Mudlaff wrestle a few times and he is a quality kid (ex. he went 3-0 in freestyle and 5-0 in Greco at National Duals and is a passed kids nationals AA). That was the type of win you need at Fargo though.

 

Waiting to see who the kids draw next round.

Kaleb Baker wins his third match 6-0, 3-1. He wrestles Ben Morgan from MN next. That will be a huge match.

 

Campbell Lewis wins his third match 5-2, 7-0. He wrestles Angelo Silvestro from IL next. Silvestro currently has 1 lose.

 

Aaron Lopez lost his third match 0-2, 5-2, 0-1 and has been eliminated.

Baker loses to Ben Morgan 1-7, 0-7 and then goes on to drop his match to Case Supchak from VA 1-3, 1-8. Finishes the tournament 3-2.

 

Campbell Lewis lost his 4th match to Silvestro 2-3, 2-8. Then loses to Jared Kust of Wisconsin 0-6, 0-6 and is out of the tournament. Campbell finishes with a record of 3-2.

 

That completes the competition for all of the Cadets. The Juniors will take the mat tomorrow.

0-2. Lost to Carson Kuhn (Utah) 0-6, 0-7. Lost to Sean Ambrocio (Texas) 0-3, 5-2, 3-4. Out of the tournament.

0-2. Lost to Joe Rendina (Michigan) 7-0, 6-0. Lost to Nick Wilcox (New York) by fall in 1:24. Out of the tournament.
