gator10
I've heard Kingston is in trouble with the TSSAA for the head coach coaching summer ball . I hope this is not true
ldstrange
Why would "Spanky" be in trouble for that? Many high school head coaches coach summer ball...there are leagues for summer ball in several cities. As far as I know there is no rule against it. gator10
I've been told it was a tournament in Crossville during dead peroid. I'm a Jacket fan and like I said I hope it's not true
ldstrange
Participating in any softball activity during a dead period will get you in trouble, that is for sure. I know Mike pretty well and I believe he wouldn't do anything he knew to be a voilation, but there is a big dead period during June and July (for not apparent reason) that you have to work around. If he was playing in a tournament in Crossville, he isn't the only one that has a problem. Like you, I hope it isn't true.
YellowBall
It is true, Spanky was coaching a team that had at least one of his high school ball players on it during the "Dead Period". From what I understand Kingston now has an extra week of "Dead Period" added to the two weeks that is already in place state wide. This was handed down by TSSAA officals.
