Anybody have the results from the KIL jamboree?

Results from a jamboree should be taken with a "grain of salt". I know most teams are using this as experimental times with line ups and new players. Plus, I believe the games are quite short, so not a whole lot of time to get things going.

The only results I know are CAK's

(I don't think Coach Turner played his starters, though, and I know CAK were missing some)

(I only know the score, and no details)

Yep, was there all day. I can tell you that the scores mean absoulutely nothing. A lot of teams played mixed line-ups, or just their JVs. People in different positions, etc. Don't read much into a 30 minute scrimmage. This is a great social event for parents and players and a good way to get the season started. I do think that the skills competition is a great event. The winners were:

Juggling: Ceci Mercedes, West HS; 40 yd. Dash: Laura Foster, CAK; placement kick: Sara Dean, Seymour HS; Throw-In: Olivia Cecil, Webb HS; Goalkeeper punt: Ceci Mercedes, West HS.

The skills competition sounds like a lot of fun...and a good way for the competitors to interact off of the field...

And Ceci does have a cannon from what I saw at the scrimmage vs. Notre Dame...
