Line play will be the key to this game. Whomever controls the line of scrimmage should win. Gibbs will have an advantage in depth as they go three deep in most positions. If Claiborne can't control or slow down the Gibbs skill players, it could become a long night for the home team.

yeah, i guess the line will by far the key for this game. Yeah, gibbs maybe deep but are they as good as there starters. Claibornes line has depth without hardly any drop off. This game I believe should be interesting to watch and will be a great game to see how well these teams fair against each other.

I don't know anything about Claiborne but I'm sure it has been a long, long, long time since Gibbs has dismantled someone like they did Grainger. When teams that don't normally do that, start the year like that, they have tendencies to get the big head and think they are awesome when they should be maintaining composure and work ethic towards continuing the win streak. I just hope Gibbs doesn't come out cocky and get punched right in the mouth, if this happens it could be a long night for the Eagles. One thing that should keep this from happening is strong leadership from within the team, hopefully the senior class at Gibbs has good leaders to keep the team focused.

TOO MUCH CONFIDENCE = LOSS

Grounded yet confident = Win

yeah this is true. both teams also need to keep there composure and come out level headed if they both to this it will make a great game. Both teams are strong and fast it will be who wants it the most.

Thanks veerman, that is really nice of you to support local teams. And I as well hope your panthers win every game except you know when! I like to see our 2 schools support each other when playing differnt teams unlike valleypanther. That was not a nice thing to say. If you think for one minute gibbs or any k-ville team will ever pull for your team you are crazy it will never happen. good luck to both the bulldogs and panthers.

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
