yea I'm still kicking. Have some health issues with my wife so I don't know when I'll be able to come to the games but I'm still cheering for the team.

As far as the fat backfield is concerned I don't know what he considers fat but he needs to talk to his team after the game and see if the toughness is there. As far as talent is concerned talk to the college coaches that are after quite a few of that fat backfield. Enough said. GO CARDINALS................

Oh I am sorry for hurting your feelings. Boy, to be so tough, you cardinal fans hold your feelings out there. Grow up, this is message boards. Its where people give their opinions on the teams and the outcome. I still think that having such a large backfield is a waste. Because 230 gets fatigued faster and if a team (Riverside) plays good ball, and stuff the inside, them Ole Big Chubby will get tired. 35 starts on both sides of the ball. It will catch up with him...Please dont cry about this post too.

I promise you there will be no crying from this side of the field. Message boards are for discussing games. The way your first post was worded shows what we are dealing with case closed. Maybe a large backfield is a waste, but if they are inshape and they are. They are still going strong in the fourth quarte and that takes a toll on their opposition. Come to the game Friday night I promise you will not be disappointed in that fat backfield. Those kids have more heart in their little finger than most players would ever have. Combine that with their strong fat butts and you get a machine.

By the way those kids both bench over 300 lbs and squat close to 500 anytime you want to get in front of one of them and try to stop them go right ahead.

We will discuss games with you all day long, but keep it within reason when you talk about someone else's kid.

I am Cardfan and Proud of it.

I think this will be an excellent ball game and the outcome will determine who makes the playoffs in that district. Riverside looked terrible in the jamboree, but they played very well against Lexington and honestly probably should have won the game. Adamsville beat Bolivar in the Chester Co jamboree and will do well in that district also. If Riverside plays the way they played last week, they will win. If not, Adamsville will win. Depends on which Riverside shows up. I believe they will be motivated by the Lexington game and I give it to Riverside in a close game.

Those big, fat, fatigued fat boys of Adamsville did what? Beat up on those puny, skinny boys of Riverside? You must be joking.... I thought they (Cardinals) had no talent. Big mouth I told you earlier to just ask the players of Riverside after the game if the players from A'ville are soft and out of shape. The truth is that Riverside played hard and A'ville played harder. It was a game the players on both teams can be proud of and the arm chair quarterbacks prove that, well just that they are arm chair quarterbacks without much football knowledge. Have a nice day...............

Dear Jackdarippa:

Please never root for Adamsville. You need to give all your support (and tremendous football knowledge) to your team at MCHS. We know you are a supporter of McNairy Central and you need to stand by them. You deserve each other.................

Well GPAW6, you beat me to the punch and nailed it on the head! Go Cards!!

Boy was I wrong! I wasn't at the game, but the score indicates that Adamsville pretty much had their way with Riverside. I just figured the Panthers would be fired up after last week, but go figure. They seem like Jekyl and Hyde or a box of chocolates-you never know what you're gonna get, lol. Anyway, Coach Gray does a good job at Adamsville and they should now have inside track to a playoff spot in that district. They will probably win the district if they can beat TCA IMO. Good luck to them.

    • Wow, that really stinks. I hate that for you guys.
    • Not sure what you mean? 40 TOTAL? Macon is a good team no doubt, but I believe they've only scored 35 total points against Uppeeman the last two years, and that's over three games.
    • This scenario resonates with the dynamics observed in my hometown of Hartsville. The undue influence of politics on high school sports remains a pervasive issue, detracting from the integrity of athletic programs.  The proliferation of individuals driven by a thirst for power inevitably precipitates the downfall of any program. It appears that we are currently grappling with similar challenges akin to those faced by Greenback. Please accept my condolences for your ordeal.
    • From what we are hearing on the reservation we will be lucky to beat sunbright. And trust me I am not throwing stones at them because they play their hearts out. It’s a tuff game every year, just like Oakdale but when you have small numbers that’s what you get. And then you add in that you loose two top linemen and the starting qb!!!! Along with a running back!  We are in deep trouble.
    • The coach's departure ensued due to the absence of backing from the board members, compounded by the unsettling revelation that one board member persistently surveilled him, verging on conduct akin to harassment. Furthermore, it appears that meeting the expectations of this community remains an unattainable feat, as even a hypothetical scenario of clinching five consecutive state championships would likely not suffice to quell discontent. The current situation is fraught with complications, primarily stemming from applicants for the position who have cultivated relationships with board members known to have opposed the former coach.
