Best P.A. Announcer in Middle Tennessee

I have been to many football games in Middle and West TN and this state has some tremendous announcers. This thread could easily open a can of worms, but I will just say I have enjoyed many across the state.

Not sure who the best is, but the worst is the guy at Hendersonville. He's part cheerleader and part radio play by play guy. Way too much verbage.

Kevin Dugan (the Nashville Storm PA announcer) has also done plenty of hoops---- he was the PA announcer of the WBA Franklin Knights and the ABA Nashville Broncs and Music City Stars. He also does PA announcing for both Antioch and Hillwood.

The PA announcer from Brentwood High School that is now at Centennial. The only time I've ever asked about a PA announcer in 25 years, he's that good, call him.

Well maybe I was being a little harsh on them boys from Smith county. The radio broadcasts aren't that great. BTW, Cheese is not the best by a longshot though. But, I wouldn't want anyone else.

The guy from Smith County has been in the booth for 31 years without missing a game. Not many can do that and be "bad".

Hey fans,

 

I am scouting for a new p.a. announcer for a NCAA Division I school in Middle Tennessee. I don't want to take them away from your high school. I just want to be able to offer them more work on Thursdays and Saturdays this winter during basketball season.

 

Who is THE BEST p.a. announcer you've heard in Middle Tennessee at football or basketball games? Please don't be a homer and vote for your favorite high school guy unless they ARE the best. Give me some names.

most annoying..all the PA guys in Rutherford County..the best I can think of would be the guy who does Lincoln County..sorry don't know his name..Scott Shasteen is pretty good even if he is a "Tullahoma Fan".

Hey everyone needs to listen to the guy at DeKalb County he is the best I've ever heard. He really gets into it and keeps the crowd on there feet. I dont know who he is but he is great by keep the DC fans fired up and into the game. Im from Sparta (White County) and I had to go to the press box and tell him just how much I enjoyed listen to him. Keep up the great job Sir and good luck to you and your Tigers.
