In the last few years Montgomery Central has been the Loretto of 3A football in our area. They lost to almost everybody in 3A and most in 2A. With a new coaching staff, they have a couple of wins against below average talent. Kind of like East Hickman except they're a class higher and so should have more depth and athletes from a percentage standpoint. They lost to a rebuilding Cheatham team by 1.

 

I'd give Central the edge. There's a reason why these two teams scheduled each other as non conference foes. It'll be a good game from a competition standpoint.

I saw Montgomery Central last night and they are much improved. Coach Bragg has done a great job of getting people interested in Indians football and he has those players believing that they can win. Montgomery Central will be no walk in the park whatsoever for the Eagles in this one.

good luck eagles .work hard this week and think possitive , but dont overlook. hope to see the run game open up the passing game this week. D-fence is going to have to step up and forget last week. it will help to get some key players back. But big props to the freshman #4 he did a great job stepping up and laying some good hits.

MC will be fired up for ther homecoming .This could be trouble for the Eagles. If the Eagles can keep it close maybe they can squeek this one out. But I hope easteaglebaseball is right.

We need to not make mistakes. The Spring hill game looked horrible. so many mistakes. I am sure they watched the film and seen the mistakes,and correct them. If East gets back on point they will beat MC.

My guess is that if East wins, it is also a win for Coach King. I am uncertain of the context of "If Coach King plays them the smart way, he will win" comment...... I believe that Coach King along with the rest of the coaching staff have put in place the "smartest" game plan possible for success against Montgomery Central. They will now put it in the hands of the players to execute, making adjustments as needed. Should be a good match-up tonight. GoodDaysAreComing, are you waiting for them (the good days)? East wins............21 - 13 . East led the entire game, leading 21 -0 at the half. It should of been a lot worse, Go EAST ! Intimidating atmosphere, lots of smack talk....and They had a nice car they beat with a sledge hammer that was a East Hickman car....... cute. Congrats guys.
