"Bradley remembers last year’s controversial 35-21 loss at Soddy-Daisy and will be looking for some payback in front of a big Bear Stadium crowd.

“That was a tough loss last year and our guys remember it,” Coach Floyd said of a couple of key controversial calls that went against the Bears, plus questionable hit that put a Bear starter on the sideline for much of the contest."

 

 

Old crybaby Damon had his hometown refs tonight and one guy who called holding at least five times (anytime Soddy-Daisy had a big gain) and he still lost. Game was very similar to Damon's senior year when the Trojans beat him 14-10 and the clock mysteriously goes blank with 3 minutes to go and Bradley driving. You know going in at Bradley you will have to beat more than the 11 opposing players, but tonight may have been the worst one yet. Oh well, not a great performance by the Trojans but any win in that place is a good one so we will take it.

 

Soddy-Daisy has got to correct the little mistakes. This is week six and twice tonight we have 9 players on the field. Once on punt team and once on punt return. The punt return mistake gave Bradley a first down on the fake. Secondly, we have a first down with a 1:20 left and we are in shotgun handing the ball off. Take 4 knees and get the heck out of dodge. Don't chance a fumble or turnover. Overall good job on the victory, let's work on being a "football smart" team and correcting the little things.

 

"Big Bear Stadium crowd"????? What a joke! Just saw highlights on 'Football Friday' (WTNB) and the Bradley side was only about 1/4th full.

S-D's QB (Parrott?) looked great, from what little bit I saw of him!

As far as the bad refs at Bradley.....that's always expected

 

 

 

I just saw the highlights on WTNB, IF anyone has ever been to Bradley then you know THAT when the cars parked on the road in the back ground is on the right that is the NORTH endzone and when the scoreboard is on the left that is the South endzone which means the view was from the home side of the field. It never showed the home side. Also shows the home coming court from the same view and anyone knows that they face the home side. Only fans visible on the tapes were on the visitors side. Wasn't there could care less about the Bears, but talked to someone who was and they said it was obvious Soddy had the better team, Bears had the better effort.

Does anyone have the total yds for each team?

 

Chatt times free press, capsule will have it, never did hear the stats. What abot the fight. Someone said the bears lost the game and the fight! :roflolk:

Big Hairy, did you forget? Soddy and Bradley grads do not know how to read small print. They can only read those oversized books from school with the xtra large print.

You are wrong on the crowd size, and you also said that SD would beat the "snot" out of BC,3 points off of a fumbled punt. Looks like you were wrong on both counts. WE will be glad to see you in two weeks, be sure to come over and introduce yourself, I will notify Ripley's (should be a world record) a piece of crap standing over 5 feet high.

I am not bashing any kids. I commend the boy. He is the best at Bradley land,Way to go freshman QB...

 

but, he could not start for the freshman team at Ooltewah and those are the facts....get it ....is that clear????.........crystal?????

 

Phish please talking about being legit Copeland could run circles around your jv qb get real. You have never seen him play

      They did a 10 play series deal instead of down and distance. LC scored twice but if it had been an actual game neither would have mattered because they turned over the ball twice with Sweetwater forcing fumbles both times. LC only scored on the 2nd stringers as well. Defense is looking solid and the offense has a good running back and receiver who did not play last year but made several great catches during the scrimmage, I believe the cats had some key pieces missing with baseball and track still being in season at the time. Considering the wildcats were matched up against a 5A school the cats held their own and forced multiple turnovers while also creating scoring opportunities against the LC defense.

      I don’t see any of them guys why leave programs to go there with no community backing or anything. Word up here on the hill is davy and veto into it over whose kid should be q b for jr high. Tough times in tc hope it all changes with a new face. And once again we aren’t giving up shoulders. And he doesn’t want that crap down there lol
