2010 Bristol Border Brawl--Bristol, TN

The 2nd Annual Bristol Border Brawl will be held January 30, 2010 in Bristol, Tennessee at Bristol's Viking Hall.

A unique concept in youth wrestling pitting state versus state for a Border Battle finals match up. Last year (with limited space) in the event's inaugural season we hosted over 350 participants from 6 states. With room for up to 8 mats and seating for over 4,000 we expect this year's event be much larger and more competitive.

The Bristol Brawl is now an official qualifier for the Ohio Tournament of Champions.

Had a lot of interest in the Bristol Brawl from teams at the Dixie Nationals last weekend. Should have some teams from Georgia, Florida, and Alabama this year.

 

Registration is now open. Forms are online at www.vikingswrestlingclub.com. Be sure to include seeding information.

Just received entries from West Virginia, add them to the list of states attending.

Due to the VACW State and several over tournaments being held this weekend and request by several clubs we have EXTENDED OUR ENTRY DEADLINE until Tuesday Jan 26th. Registration is strong with well over 250 already registered and commitments from at least 100 more that will sign up following the weekend's tournaments.

If the tournament is changed/canceled due to weather, would you mind posting it here?

 

Our guys really need the work so we're hoping that doesn't happen and will be there (most of us) unless the roads are absolutely imassable.
