Lincoln COunty @ Shelbyville

This is a game I personally have been waiting on for a long time. Any thoughts? I will be wearing Blue. Big game for Shelbyville to make the playoffs and nothing to loose for LC.

How does Shelbyville make the playoffs by winning? This new system is very confusing.

Based on a little research (not very hard), Shelbyville is guaranteed a wild card spot in the 5A playoffs with a win over Lincoln County and a 6-4 overall record. Also, a loss and a 5-5 record would still put them in very good position to get one of the five wild card spots. Tullahoma can actually still get the final wild card spot with a loss at Lawrence County and a 4-6 overall record, but will need a little help.

Lincoln County wins 21-14 with some impressive defense along with some solid offense. Shelbyville scored on a kickoff return and an interception return - their offense put together one good drive down to inside the 5 right before halftime but didn't put it in - that was the only serious offensive threat.

 

The refs weren't very impressive - there were some calls and lack of calls on both sides that I didn't quite follow.

 

Good job Falcons! An excellent end to a challenging (in many ways) season!

Hey bigmoney, looks like you don't follow high school football very closely and you don't know what you're talking about. Shelbyville is going to the playoffs...last night's game had virtually no impact on their postseason hopes. Congrats to the Eagles for making it back to the playoffs for the second time in three seasons. You may want to do a little research from now on before running your mouth..made you look really bad.
