Forrest at Moore Co. Round 1

This is for 1st place in district 9a. Forrest defense will to quick for the Lady Raiders to handle. Forrest by 10. 58-48. Other predictions?

If Moore County can hit open shots and play solid team defense, I think they can win. Otherwise, Forrest could possibly run away with it as I think they are probably the more consistent team at this point. Another key for Moore County could be depth in the post--Hawn could be the best player on the floor, but if the Raiderettes pound the ball inside early and look to score instead of just kicking it back out, they have enough good post players that they could maybe get her into foul trouble early.

Forrest. I'm not sure its close by the end of the game. MC is a solid team -- they pass well and are well-coached. They aren't overly athletic. My perspective is that the "new" 9A is similar to the "old" 9A in at least one way -- everyone else is looking up at Forrest.

Was a great game to watch! As someone said earlier....great defense by both teams!!! Congrats to Forrest on this District win...Moore County has a tough team and the District will be better because of it. Tough one coming up with MTCS on Monday night...BE READY!!!! GO LADY ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!
