Just looking at district 8-A and just surprized by the standings I found.

Trousdale County 2-0

Friendship Christian 1-0

Red Boiling Springs 1-0

Watertown 0-2

Gordonsville 0-2

What do you think will happen the rest of the year?

So is Friendship pretty good this year? I know they lost a really good post last year but I haven't heard if they are good this year or not. Trousdale has only played Watertown and Gordonsville so far right? Who is the better team Watertown or Gordonsville?

Well I haven't seen Friendship play either but i've been told RBS is still the better team! Now i've seen us play and we have one of our better teams that we've had! I think the Clay Co game was a fluke and I don't think Clay will win the next game, even though I know it was like a 20 point game! RBS is still young but noone might not see much out of RBS this year, but next year watch out because I believe RBS will have 1 really good year in them!

Well you can add a defeat to the trousdale team after last night. A nine point loss to friendship, which could have been worst .But coach tetter pulled players and let everybody play. She is just to nice but that is her. Good luck to everybody. :roflol:

no fluke, Clay co won again without one of their starters out with hurt leg for rest of season although this game was close 7a is a lot tougher than 8a as it shows here with 4th place team defeating 1st place team. What year is Coulter in she is 1/2 their team and an outstanding player.

I watched Clay County play and they're a lot better than I thought and I was told! RBS just had 1 senior this year, so they're still pretty young! Colter is just a junior too!

Swanson71 i will have to say i am impressed by colter .And the couple of games i have seen of rbs she is the heart of the team just my opionion.Looks like if you can stop her you make it a lot easier on yourself. But its like any year everybody wants to win the district but it comes down to who is hot at tournament time.I think its going to get good this year.Good luck to everybody. :thumb:

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
