Mccoin is by far the best player in the whole upper cumberland all classes. He runs, passes and will put a hit on you.

this past week Jackson co. was in the game until 4th quarter when TC scored back to back touchdowns to win 27-6, I expect GHS to win by 3 touchdowns.

I agree but so have you all but could't do anything with them after they came, Carr from LA was awful good as a freshman and Ferris could have taken anyone else to state.

we can all see JC with those teams because they play LA and Upperman twice every year but those teams are top notch year in and year out and will always be competitive at any level. And on Hackett she's a very good player and her dad grew up here went to school here and boy I wish he'd come home.

don't remember a missed shot at buzzer that anyone had against JC in fact they had no game in state that was even single digits. Clay co would have beaten any team in tourney 20 plus that one night and was the best in the finals and deserved to win.

I agree, knew him at Roane state years ago, give Mark Wilson credit he hired a good coach, good man and a good fit for TTU

I don't care if you have 20 classes some teams will be the smallest of the group and most schools have around 12 players and only 5 play at a time, its going to get where a championship means nothing, because someone keeps belittling the competion where rivals mean nothing any more and teams have to travel across the state to play.

And you think had this not happened and that not happened any team playing could have won, but on the floor Lake co just was not in the top 4 or 5 in this tourney.They had no chance agaist Clay co had they won opening game.

I SAY CLAY CO IS STATE CHAMPIONS AND # 1 reguardless of what we think.

I don't know what the anwser is but why discriminate against some private schools like Brentwood acd. and others and let some privates play public, either have a formalur for all with a step up if your private and let everyone play in same category or make them all separate. High school sports is becoming a feeder system for AAU and other organizations that is competing with educating our youth.

I agree not impressive, but still good enough to beat the best the west sent our way and our fans were there as always.

how does Friendship play Grace in first game as those two regions play each other in substate?

at the end of season UC was a lot better than Lake co. and JC beat them playing terrible, Clay co was best in tourney JC was second and summertowm third and Lake co and Loretta was about even for forth and fifth. Almost every year in recent years you hear all this great talk from Lake county but they exit early wnen they make it to state.

congrats to coach Sims and the lady bulldogs, I knew going in these two were the best two teams and its really hard to beat a good team over and over. Clay co came to play and JC looked tired and I'm proud for those seniors who worked hard and deserved the gold ball.

Obion is a good team and so is CPA, but I believe all three titles this year will stay in middle tn.

Clay co has a good ballclub and Roach and Ccooper are very good players, Clay and JC know each other well have already played 4 times tith JC winning all of them. Some were blowouts and some were close, but its hard to keep beating a good ball club over and over. But swanson is correct its a whole differant ball game defense wise in 7a than elsewhere in state. For this reason when your off like JC was tonight you can still win.

I really thought going in Clarksville was the best team in tourney on what I had heard, but seeing all of them play in aaa Riverdale looks a lot better than any of them. This will be a hard game for Science Hill and I pick Riverdale by double digits especially it being played in the boro.

congrats to 7a girls once again the class of single a, and if JC plays that bad in finals they will lose by 15 to a good Clay co team, but I hope they got the bad game behind them.

hey bigdaddy, good luck to LA tonight and Mcminn Central-Grundy game will be good one, and I'm going against the odds in this one as good as Central is Grundy has the two post that will give them problems and they are hungary jut a hunch but GC by 3.

Heck I take it as a compliment to our program that people would move here to play sports, but reality is a lot of folks have moved here last several years and a few play some kind of sport, but thats the case in a lot of rural counties. My wife told me that out of 18 students in her last class at middle school 11 were citizens that had moved here the past several years. However if there a star out there who wants to come to JC and play we will take them and treat them with all the love and kindness we can muster.

This many misconceptions can only come from a whinning loser who won't or can't accept the facts.He referred to techicals in the plural to make it look like JC got several against Friendship when both teams recieved one. He called JC a weakest in tourney when JC beat them two out of three the only win they got was early in season at PC. He said JC was a 10 game winner when they won same amount of games as PC 13 and JC played a lot tougher schedule(cookeville twice, warren co twice, upperman twice, Livingston twice cannon co. twice and Westwood once all aa and aaa schools).Look at the schedules on coach t its there for your reading.Pc didn't play anybody outside of class a worth a flip except LA who beat them 30-40 points both games.He said they won district when they actually tied for first but at end of season Monterey was better than PC. PC is a great school with good coaches and a lot of good fans but a few negative boasting fans have run off good coaches namely Bibb and Mitchell and can't face reality. Now chill out buy a ticket and go to the boro and enjoy life.
