Ok, I'll try to kick it off!

1 OS

2 wb or coal - both lost a lot, but still ahead of everyone else

3 wb or coal

4 oneida - should be better, might contend for higher spot

5 jellico - not much is known, might be better than a 4 or 5 spot

6 sb - new coach, same team?

7 oak

lets hear some opinions!

Big three as usual, Oz Wartburg Coalfield. Wartburg lost quite a bit maybe returning one starter? Coalfield lost it's top 4 or 5 players. Oliver Springs seems to return most the lineup. It's going to be real simple the top 4 players from the district graduated last year, so there are going to be kids from each school step up to fill the role of the best player in the district, where they come from who knows? Safest bet right now is Cruise Smith at Oz. Four year starter at shortstop with a big bat and valuable on the mound. As of right this second it has to be 1. Oz-experience Smith and Kegley 2. Coalfield- they have kids who played some innings last year but they are lost a lot. 3. Wartburg- Basically lost everything they had for four years.

Wartburg won't be bad. They are similiar to the team Wartburg had four years ago only difference is they have more than one player returning from last year. The District is down bad, only draw back is Harriman and Rockwood are loaded with talent. Maybe a rough year for district 4 when it comes to advancing very far out of the district.

With the big three: OZ, WB, and CF......It all comes down to who can develop the most throughout the season.

All three lost a LOT of talent.....that's not to say that there is not talent left at all three. It is just not developed yet.

WB is probably replacing the most with OZ replacing the least and CF somewhere in th middle.

You can throw out whatever happens in the regular season.....4A will come down to who is playing well come tourney time!

I will go with: 1. OZ--they have Kegley

1a WB--best starting pitching

3. CF--not enough arms to get to the play-offs

4. Oneida--not very good, but much better than the bottom 2

5. Jellico--not enough talent

6. Oakdale--well it's oakdale.....nuff said
