Cheatham has a new coach this year, again. Coach BOYD is a real class act. He does nt have alot of highschool baseball coaching experience but I think he will do a fine job. It will be a challenge for him, they are very young, just like football and basketball, so it will be a uphill battle. Good Luck Cubs!

Coach Boyd will do a great job and both he and Coach Chandler will run the baseball program very well this year. Both were on the staff last year under Coach Finley and both also coach football with Coach Finley. I think that the Cubs baseball program is really at this point 1 year ahead of both the football & basketball programs because last year they played a lot of young guys and got them some experience and played well in a lot of their games. I think this year that the Cubs baseball program can win more games than they have in a very long time if the players continue to develop and play within themselves and most importantly play TOGETHER!!!!

What about Coach Jones at Harpeth....I hear he is trying to incorporate a new mental philosophy that Harpeth baseball has frankly been missing.
