IMO I do not agree with the coach of the year award. I think it should have been Coach Rogers this year due to he had a very young team and done pretty well with them, and Coach brown had a lot more experienced team. Saying that, IMO Coach Brown should have gotten it last year because CR was loaded with seniors and JC had to work harder to try to keep up. Overall they each got the awards, I just thought it was for the wrong years. Congrats to everyone that made the team.

I think it would be hard not to select Brown this tear and Rogers last year because they were both undefeated in district those paticular years and nobody I know of thought they would be. With c'range winning state last year and returning Heady and Reid two of the best seniors in district they wern't that young. JC had more freshmen honoreed than anyone so as a team they had 4 seniors then went very young. Year before last when JC won state beat C'range 5 times were preseason picked 2nd or 3rd in district behind C'range and RBS and Brown wasn't coach of year was a joke but sour grapes came in to play. Both these coaches are two of the best in state and will always have good teams.
