Looking forward to four exciting quarterfinal games tonight.

 

Two of the area's all-time winningest coaches square off in Dyer. Coach Russell and Coach Lott have combined for more than 1,500 career wins. McNairy has won three of the last four meetings, dating back to 2005.

 

Haywood and Bolivar renew their rivalry, marking their 12th meeting in five years. Bolivar swept the Lady Tomcats this season - 69-48 on Dec. 5 in Brownsville, 50-34 on Jan. 9 in Bolivar. The Lady Tigers have won four straight in the series. Haywood has not won in Tiger Country since 2006.

 

Obion Central enters with a two-game losing skid, marking their first back-to-back losses since March 2006. Meanwhile, the Lady Tigers are celebrating their first district title since 1987. They meet for the first time since November 2006.

 

Westview and Liberty have already played twice this season. They split - Westview 65-51 on Nov. 28, Liberty 51-43 on Feb. 6. Both games were in Martin. Westview has lost only one region quarterfinal game this decade. Liberty is looking for its third semifinal berth in school history.
