Viper3
Greenfield baseball will be pretty good this year again. They've got a good group of seniors that will have another good season. The loss of Coach Schlicht won't be a factor.
cavcav
The loss of Coach Schlicht won't be a factor. The loss of Schlicht will hurt the team. Clements is the only pitcher they had last year. Do they have anyone else this year??? If not, look out. Also lost half of infield and centerfielder. Top of the order is gone. Doesn't look good. cavcav
Didn't the 2B and CF sign with Dyersburg State? And they were the 1 and 2 hitters in the lineup, with lots of speed. If not, then I was wrong. But I know they had more seniors than Puckett.

JaxMan
I think Greenfield will be strong this year. Not strong enougn to go all the way, but they will be a good team and you will need your A game to beat them. Not sure about pitching, maybe their weakness. doggy
People understand this GHS is coming off 3 seasons of 14, 15, and 15 wins along with 2 Regional app. 3 key losses from them 3 seasons 1.) 4 good players that started 3 years. 2.) The one of the better athletes in west tn. the Grooms kid. Quit or not last year. 3.) One of the better young coaches in west tn.
Skyhawk
Who will be taking over Greenfield in 2003, Coach Schlict did a good job with that team, and a coach who is not into the game will not do as well.
doggy
Good luck to the new staff. Maybe 2 coaches can match the smarts of one.
