Greeneville Greene Devils in 2010

william grew up in cocke co and played 1 year over in NC. he is a stud, and i will be really surprised if he isn't the best impact player on Greeneville's team

Given the state of affairs of the Cocke County program, I'm surprised we haven't seen more boys from Newport enroll in Greeneville...

I don't recall saying it did....but we have had athletes in the past make the drive up from CC and it would not be a bad move for a talented athlete. Lets face it, the powers that be in Cocke County have not shown a commitment to a quality FB program in quite some time and a lot of potential has been lost due to a lack of development. Greeneville has that commitment and the money to support it. If I am a parent of a talented jr high or middle school FB player in Cocke County and have the time and money for tuition and transportation, it would be well worth it....I mean the "Big Red" is eons away from a competitive program, particularly with the current T$$AA configuration.

I wanted to brag on the Devils and there work out program, I just heard today that around 15-20 players squated over 400 pounds with about 10 really close to that. That is awesome if it is true. Just by looking at them, I believe it!

I don't see what the big deal about squatting 400 lbs..... I could probably squat close to that. Of course the un-sqatting part might be a problem
