I agree that Sequatchie should finish first, but Grundy, Bledsoe and CCS have strong pitching and if their bats get hot, watch out! I have a sneaky suspicion that Bledsoe may sneak up on everyone.

I would think all districts play each other twice. Looking at the schedules...these do also.

We do this year, last year we only played once.

With 9 district teams last year...I can see why you did that. Most districts are smaller this year.

Any district rainout games this week? Some schools in this district reports their scores in the Chattanooga Freepress and some don't. Why not?

Sequatchie's game with Cannon Co today was postponed, that's coming off last Friday's rainout vs Polk County. If the weather cooperates they should get in at least 6 this week depending on how they do in the Soddy-Daisy tournament.

Sequatchie Co. beat Bledsoe 6 to 2 Way to go Lady Indians!!!

It wasn't as easy as the score looks. Bledsoe's Ritchie pitched a solid game, only giving up one hit over the first 5 innings. Kayla Reagan was her usual "thorn in the side", getting several good hits. The Indians got to Ritchie in the sixth inning and took the lead 2-1. In the 7th, It looked like Ritchie lost a little speed and the Indians put several hits together. Dawson, Brock and Burgess each had big hits late to drive in runs and push the Indians over the top. Good game to watch.
