UTC's program is looking up.Good opportunity for some good players who don't go BCS,or even FBS to shine. Maybe now the local talent at this level get's the attention they deserve

I just wonder if they wanted local talent and wanted to sign a QB why UTC passed on the best throwing QB in Chattanooga ?

So where is this great prospect going to play in college? Chattanooga didn't offer-please tell us, who has?

This part isn't about the quarterback non-issue, but they can't sign just any local the shape the program was left in by the ex head coach. They have to look for guys they expect to get it done on the field and in the classroom both, no room for any major academic risks.

Obviously you are far removed from this subject so we won't discuss it any more.

Of course i've heard your argument before. I'm sure after evaluating,UTC picked who they thought was a better fit. Terrell Robinson of South Pitt is no slouch.

Yes and I saw where your earlier post ask the question about " if he's physically up to the schools standards " ? Playing in 6A is different than playing in 1A. I don't see where I ever mentioned anything about anyone being a slouch. And yes they obviously went with who they thought was a better fit for them.

You've been crying on here for weeks about how they "overlooked" him-and yes, I know the player you're talking about but I was being courteous by not mentioning him by name. Yet you won't say where he's going. Maybe it wasn't "overlooking" him if no college at the level Chattanooga was at last year, middle of the pack in one of the toughest 1-AA leagues, cared enough to offer.

So is he going to play anywhere? It's getting late in the process. If he plays anywhere, from Division III to Alabama, he's to be congratulated.

Robinson playing in 6A would have faced tougher opponents but on the average would have better teammates (no offense to SP). It's all relative.

Stats, no matter the level played, aren't everything.

Crying about what ?? He has signed and he did visit UTC . But UTC went another direction. And just so you know Furman did offer. I think he and his twin brother signed with Lambuth which I think is going to D-2 this year. And as far as getting it done on the field and in the classroom I don't think Harvard would have came to School to recruit him .

    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
