District lead! woohoo

We managed to scrape out a win against a tough Alcoa team 5-3 tonight. They led 3-0 but we battled back in the 6th and put 5 on the board. This gives us at least a share of the district lead as we are 4-1 with our only loss to Alcoa.

The question is, when you are tied in wins/losses do runs scored for or against mean anything?

As far as the question goes for Runs for or Against, most districts don't use that format to settle ties. I coach in a district that during the preseason meeting, all coaches draw a number and that number is recorded for that season. When it comes down say between two teams with only one loss, then the team that drew the smaller number wins the one seed going into the District Tourney. Some districts decide it on a coin flip also.
