dadtimesfive
Dont think Spring Hill will be a surprise to win some games if not all of it. After watching DL play Friday they have a couple of players that stood out to me and that was the catcher and shortstop. Stray too far catcher will get you, hit the ball in the hole ss will go get it. Both these players really made some plays Friday against GC. Good Luck to all. blackandgoldforlife
I know I am a little bit bias but I think Smith Co. could make some noise possibly. With the exception of one game here lately SC has had some HOT bats and have played great in the field. They could sneak up and bite some people in the butts. 66in74
Like a jigsaw puzzle, Spring Hill has all the pieces to win it all. If the staff and players can just put them together this week, then I think they have a good chance to win it all. Good Luck RAIDERS !! bd4vols
This AA Tournament is WIDE open. For the first time in several years, there is no clear cut favorite. One thing is for certain, some teams are coming that can really swing the bats.

One thing is for certain, some teams are coming that can really swing the bats. I'll promise you Lexington will be swinging the bats. They have been "thru the fires" all year with a very tough schedule, and have been succesful. The pitching at this tournament at class AA , will be no surprise to them. LEXINGTON won it in 2002 , and this is the same coach that built that team. This team really swings the bats.
jacktheripper
Not sure who the favorite will be this year, but I agree that Lexington is gonna be hard to handle. They roll the pole over in West TN!!

I agree , they will hit the ball. Odle will have this club ready, and this ain't his first rodeo. Lexington's schedule may have been the toughest of any AA team that is in the tourny. I wouldn't want to start the tourny facing that team. They will hit.
Barons10
With all the talk about Lexington on here, you would hv thought the beat Jackson Southside every time? Where are the Hawk fans at?
TruFan18
Im with you on that one.... even though Lexington beat themselves almost everytime they played SS, im going to go out on a limb and say Lexington is two and done!!! They have not played a very tough schedule because west TN baseball is weak this year! I would have liked to see them play some of the teams that the old Lexington used to play in those regional and sectional matchups... They dont have a pitcher that can throw over 84... I wish the best of luck to South Side and Lexington but I dont see either team winning this state tourney!
buford
I'm going with the Spring Hill Raiders. This team has everything: Hitting, Pitching, and pretty solid defense. If SH can keep doing what they have done all season, I think they have a chance at winning it all. Granted the road to the ship will not be easy, but I think they have a team that will not quit. Good Luck Raiders!
