Im with you on that one.... even though Lexington beat themselves almost everytime they played SS, im going to go out on a limb and say Lexington is two and done!!! They have not played a very tough schedule because west TN baseball is weak this year! I would have liked to see them play some of the teams that the old Lexington used to play in those regional and sectional matchups... They dont have a pitcher that can throw over 84... I wish the best of luck to South Side and Lexington but I dont see either team winning this state tourney!

Nice call. Lexington was 2 through and barbecue and so was Jackson Southseems west tn baseball

isnt all it is made out to be. And my prediction of Smith Co makin a little bit of noise was correct. Congrats Owls you made history. Great season!

Congrats to Smith County on a great season. SH really enjoyed playing you guys. Good group of players and coaches. Best of luck to you in the future.

I am going with Spring Hill. These guys flat out get it done. I coached a bunch of the 16-year olds on this team when they were Diamond Stars and we beat everybody in State, East, West, Middle, it didn't matter. Put them together with Zach, Brochu, Howard, Bigs, and everyone else, plus good coaching

of Lamm and company - expect to see trophy when rain stops and they can play.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
