White 14 CCHS 28

I would be shock ed to see cchs lost to MEIGS STONE or WHITE. York Coffee Kingston Marion and Livingston are virtual tossups that I think we have a real good shot at 3 of 5 may be optimistic but I think with this group of kids it very doable. We have picked up two really good linebackers that werent around last year and some other kids have really matured nicely.

Wildcat 10 predictions:

This region is the worst in the state

1. Cookeville 8-2 (4-0) Still top dog till this district splits

2. Coffee Co 7-3 (3-1) Alot better than last year but still stink

3. Warren Co 6-4 (2-2) Cody couldn't carry them to a title

4. Cumberland Co 4-6 (1-3) Better but not that good

5. White Co 1-9 (0-4) Plain out stink I debated putting them 0-10 but felt nice

Alright heres my prediction:

1. Coffee Co 8-2 (4-0) Can't go against them real possible sleeper who takes district

2. Cookeville 7-3 (3-1) Tough scedule and a heartbreak loss to Coffee Co on the road

3. Warren Co 6-4 (2-2) Pretty easy schdule and tough guy in Cody gives them 6 wins but no district

4. Cumberland Co 5-5 (1-3) Cupcake schdule gives them 4 win then easy district foe white gives them the 5th

5. White Co 1-9 (0-4) This team reminds me of the raiders in the 80's and 90's, just stink!

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
