Coffee County 13 Marshall County 0

It took Coffee County only 4 plays to march 70 yards for the contests opening touchdown. Four straight runs shredded the Marshall County defense that looked rocky to say the least. Marshall County went 3 and out on the next series giving the ball back to Coffee County who drove down the field and scored again. Marshall County's defense seemed to finally settle down only after Coffee County made massive subsitutions. Marshall County's freshman running back did look impressive, but you can tell that it looks like it could be another long year for the Tigers.

GC Won 21 to 7.

GC scored on LC's varsity once and Jv scored twice. LC's only score came on a fumble reovery for a TD on GCS jv. it was with less than a minute left

Giles theme song so far. A line from the movie Smokey & the Bandit. "A long way to go and a short time to get there". LC was not full staff. Giles made significant strides. Finally seeing 55 impact players coming together. Its nice to have the best staff in the state.

 

Actual score was 3.5 to 0. Both staffs were in experiment mode after the 1st 10 minutes. Scoreboard illuminated 21-7 but an asterisk was present.
