Smyrna High is in need of matches for the 2010-2011 season. If you have any open dates and would be willing to wrestling a rebuilding squad please contact me at markgonyea@bellsouth.net

 

Also the 7th Annual DAWG POUND is still slated to take place. Please contact me if you are interested or have already committed to participate....

Smyrna is in need of several more duals if anyone has open dates....

 

We have a few available slots for home meets if anyone could do that also.

My whole month of December is wide open... We only have Dec 10th & 11th at the McGavok tournament

I can host on December 7th or 14th, November 29th, January 21st, and February 4th I have a dual with Franklin County that we could add a team or 2 to make it a tri or a quad.

 

the following dates are scheduled as away...

 

November 23rd, Jan 18th, Jan 27th, Feb 1st.... All other dates are available.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
