State Brackets

When do they draw the regional pairings for the state brackets? I assume it is a blind draw? I am sure one of you regulars know. Thanks.

Well, I don't know how "blind" it is, though they claim it to be... One thing that isn't blind is the fact that teams from the same section can't be in the same bracket (for example CAK couldn't play Greeneville until the finals).

 

I would love to know how they actually pair it.

 

This bracket usually comes out the Saturday before the state tournament (at least that is the way it has been for the past 3 years in the guy's season).

If i remember reading correctly I believe that it is based on overall record. How they do tie breakers I know not.
